Well what is there to say about today? Well Mr. Masson told us we needed to get our Casablanca movie responses onto our Wikis, and that he would go over with each of us what we were missing on our pages. We then went to the computer lab where the computers seemed to act a little bit faster than normal, but still agonizingly slow. We worked on our film responses while Mr. Masson called us all up to the front of the class and went over what we were missing on our wikispaces, or just to tell us good job. If we finished our film responses we were then to research more of our archetype projects and if we need to ask questions, ask them sooner rather than later. That's about it for today. Till next time...

I, Ben Smith, shall now tell you of the magical and slightly arousing day we had today. We slithered into the computer lab and discussed in further detail our archetype projects (accompanied by research thereof). But, more importantly, we discussed this year's interwrite contest. We will be lending a hand to our bretherin in the film club on friday so, if anyone has 1970s-style clothing, friday would be the day to wear it. If you don't, then try to wear something neutral so as not to date yourself as the "iGeneration", sucking on the teet of what people who make much more money then you have created for your manipulation. This is I, Ben Smith, signing off.

Today the class went straight to the computer lab and we were assigned our days for the presentations of our Archetype projects. You can view when your day is on the Film As Modern Mythology Page in the lower left hand of this screen. We then discussed the film we are making for our interwrite contest, and listened to Wouldn't It be Nice by The Beach Boys. Mrs. Phelan then told us about her party going days where she saw many bands play with her husband back in the 70's. Soon after that I had to leave the class to get my football picture taken, I apologize.

Today we began filming our interwrite contest video. We were joined by Mr. Castellanos's film class. The group of people that were properly dressed in 1970's attire were told to sit by the computers in the computer lab and to act frustrated with the computers. After we got the proper shots down, Andrew Martenson began to sing "Wouldn't It Be Nice" by The Beach Boys while the cast in the computer lab danced around in enthusiasm. We then started to film the scene where the band is in the center of the room. The dancing continued and we finished that scene. For Monday, please where the same articles of clothing and we will begin shooting the hallway scene for the film.
